Back in the early days when the Dutch colonizers invaded the east of Sri Lanka they invented a few chili - hot, highly spiced dishes. Lampijst (which we call a Lamprie) is perhaps the best known of the dishes. Today, Our master chef Sanjay still take several days and hours preparing an authentic Lamprie.
